Welcome to the Website for the  Pittsburgh Business Intelligence Group.

The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information related to the use of Cognos Business Intelligence tools. 

Our organization has been in existance for close to 20 years.   We are committed to providing a world class forum for the presentation and exchange of information regarding business intelligence using Cognos products.    Our goal is to meet quarterly to share the experience of Cognos professionals in our local community and to enhance your corporate use of Cognos Business Intelligence.

Our next meeting is scheduled for September 5, 2008.   It is being hosted by Highmark.   This meeting will consist of an exciting presentation on Cognos Planning followed by workshops.   Please see the Upcoming Events Tab for details and registsration.

Please Note:  Registrations for the upcoming meeting are no longer being accepted, as we needed to submit a list of registrants to our host for security purposes.

Our previous meeting was held on June 6, 2008 and was hosted by Medmark.  The focus of this meeting was the features of Cognos 8.3 and upgrading to 8.3.

  We encourage you to extend an invitation to others wihin your organization.   We hope to see you there!  Seating may be limited so please register early.
